COPEG Structure

General Directors

General Directors (Include photo with name and title): The General Directors are assigned full-time to the Commission and are directly responsible for the administration, coordination, control, and supervision of the Commission. All communications, regulations, standards, and procedures related to COPEG’s operations must be jointly agreed upon by the General Directors, and each is responsible for facilitating communications with the respective authorities of their country.

As an international mission, COPEG operates under the representation of two General Directors, one from each country: Dr. Carlos Moreno, Director for Panama, and Ms. Christina Lohs, Director for the United States of America.

Commission

Structure

As established by the Cooperative Agreement, the Commission is composed of four members appointed by both countries. The Commissioners meet at least once a year, and at other times as deemed necessary, to review the Commission’s activities, provide guidance, and approve annual work plans and budgets.
