5th National Youth Roping Championship in Azuero

From January 18 to 21, the Youth Roping Championship was held on the grounds of the Azuero International Fair (FIA), organized by the National Roping Association of Panama (ANALPA). The #TeamCOPEG was present, sharing information through its anti-screwworm campaign at its stand.

Throughout the event, many attendees—from children to senior producers—visited our pavilion to request free larvicide (Mata Bicheras and Negasunt). Many visitors also came seeking information about GBG in order to prevent the spread of screwworm infestations in their animals by properly treating wounds.

After an intense tournament featuring teams from across the country, the boys from Eastern Chiriquí were crowned champions in a hard-fought final against the team from Veraguas. Congratulations to all the young “centaurs” who represented their teams with pride, effort, passion, and discipline.
