David Fair – Yours, Mine, and Everyone’s!

From March 14 to 24, the #TeamCOPEG was present at the 67th International Fair of David, with the support of MIDA’s Livestock Committee, which provided us a space in the animal health area to promote our campaign against the Screwworm (GBG). We delivered prevention messages and sanitary best practices to show the public that through the inspection, treatment, and transport of healthy animals, it is possible to reduce the number of screwworm cases reported in the province of Chiriquí.

During this educational exhibition, we shared our messages with the general public, producers, youth, and children who visited our pavilion, where they received talks about the GBG, promotional items, collection tubes for larval sampling, and “Negasunt” healing powder for wound treatment.

Fue agradable poder compartir con muchos productores, información y orientación sobre el cuidado de los animales con heridas y evitar la plaga del GBG que está afectando la ganadería.
